This significantly reduces the computational effort and improves the performance of the application. For each\nmouse move event, a comparison is made with a large number of data points in 3D space. Here, the Bounding\nVolume Hierarchy (BVH) has proven particularly effective. Through the hierarchical structure, it can quickly determine which\ndata points are relevant for the mouse event.
